We are excited to announce a dinner series featuring the Chefarmer Matthew Raiford and his wife and partner Tia McDonald Raiford at The Viaduct! Chef and Organic Farmer Matthew, A James Beard Semi-Finalist, and Tia McDonald, a former Culinary Director of the Vetri Foundation, are bringing their skills, stories, and deep rooted culinary and farming history to Viaduct with a spectacular multi-course meal. There will be a “fire-side chat” to tell their story which looks back at their family history, their roots in farming, food, and how their 25-year friendship blossomed into not only into their marriage, but also their mission Strong Roots 9. Matthew will also talk about his book Bress 'N' Nyam whcih means "Bless and Eat" in Gullah Geechee that is included in the ticket sale along with a signed copy!

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Vetri Community Partnership. 

Your $65 ticket includes: 

  • A multi-course outdoor dinner and beer pairing from New Belgium brewing in our hideaway garden venue, prepared by "Chefarmer" Matthew Raiford and his wife and partner Tia McDonald Raiford. 
  • Live music under the starry night sky, band TBD but you can trust it will be some talented, soulful music.
  • A fireside chat with  Matthew Raiford and Tia McDonald Raiford. 
  • Your $95 includes all of the above + a copy of Matthew's Book "Bress ’n’ Nyam".

There are 2 seating times available - 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm so that we can provide the best experience for everyone. Should you have any specific dietary needs, please email in advance so we can accommodate them. The CDC has lifted mask mandates outdoors, and therefore, our space will be adhering to their directive.
